Mission Accomplished. Sort of.

A couple of days ago I set some goals for myself. Let's see how I did:

1. Set up my mother's ebay store - Done. Sort of. The store is there now I have to get the merchandise into it.

2. Complete my chart so I know what I need for each grad program I'm applying to - Done. I'll print it out tomorrow so I can see exactly what I need to do.

3. Call my cousin and tell her I'm getting divorced - Done. Sort of. We've played phone tag and this isn't the sort of thing I want to leave on an answering machine. I wouldn't be surprised if my mother called her but I'm going to keep trying to reach her. I'm going to call this a done for effort.

4. Email/call my friend Roger to see if he will write a letter of recommendation for me (he and I worked together for over 10 years on several projects) - Done. That's it, it's done.

5. Schedule an appointment to take my GRE - Uh-oh, how did this slip my mind. I'm not sure if I'm more afraid of being rejected for grad school or being accepted.

Stay tuned for my next To-Do list. You can guess what #1 will be....

what program are you applying to?

My first choice is the the Masters in Communication and Information Science (MCIS) program at SCILS - Rutgers. #2 is Drexel University's MS in Library and Info sciences.

I'm interested in the social implications of technology, specifically how we can implement it more smoothly and use it more effectively.
