I love doing memes but I rarely post my results. This one is very funny to me as this was the first "real drink" I ever had (I'm not counting all that cheap Boone's Farm Wine. 'Tickle Pink' anyone?)

What Drink Are You?

I was 18* and on a class trip to see an opera at the Met in NYC. We were all dressed up and and on our own for dinner. A bunch of us went to a place that used to be across the street from 'The Met' and when they took our drink orders I ordered an Iced Tea. When it came I noticed it tasted a little funny but didn't pay much attention I just drank it down. And then I had another. and another. Seems that none of us bumpkins realized that I was downing a couple shots of booze with each one.
Then I had to stand up in my high heels and fancy black dress and walk across the street to the opera house. Needless to say it wasn't pretty. I kept thinking it was something I ate, especially when my stomach was so upset the next day. Imagine my surprise when someone explained to me just what a "Iced Tea" was. It's a good thing I'm a pretty mellow, happy drunk.
*Back then kiddies, the drinking age in New York was 18. Yeah, I'm that old.
