A Report from the Salt Mines
Jul. 1st, 2006 04:52 pmSo I worked over 75 hours this week, culminating in a marathon session that ran from 10am yesterday morning until 3am this morning. I slept until almost 2pm today I was so fatigued. It'll probably take me a day or so to get all of the caffeine out of my system. If you cut me right now, I'd bleed steaming hot brown liquid. I apologize in advance for any lapses in grammar or spelling.
I have a crick in my neck that will likely require a looong hot shower and a bit of massage. I am one big body ache today but we reached the sales goal (I was coaching, not selling) so I have this feeling of (shared) accomplishment and I have some great tales to tell.
The best news is that they asked me to stay on for a few weeks to help with some of the clean up work. I start back on Wednesday and it runs for about 3 weeks. That means I don't have to do any serious job hunting for a little while longer.
The house hunt continues in panicked earnest.
For everyone who's been wondering where I am, that's where I've been. If I owe you an email, call or IM, I hope to get to it soon.
So how's life in *your* rinconito world?
