Mrs Dalloway - The Movie

The movie Mrs Dalloway is playing in the background as I work. Vanessa Redgrave plays Clarissa and she is *much too old for this part. Clarissa is in her early 50s and Redgrave was about 70 when she made the move.

I'm all for actors stretching, but yeah, this is really not working for me.

Goodbye Halcyion Days, I Am Left to My Memories Now

First Don Cornelius and now Dick Clark.

The Saturdays of my childhood are really gone forever now. I guess you really can't go home again unless it inside your own fading brain. But maybe that's why we have this nostalgia for "home" because it is something that we never can touch again.
