I assume that most of you, even those who live on the West Coast, know that New York City's police force is referred to as "New York's Finest" and the Fire Department is "New York's Bravest". But, these aren't the only municipal entities that have nicknames.

The sanitation workers are called, "New York's Strongest"
Corrections officers are called "New York's Boldest"
Teachers are called "New York's Brightest"
Paramedics and the Ambulance Corp are called "New York's Best"
Taxi and Limousine Commission Enforcement Officers are called "New York's Proudest"

I'm sure there are a bunch that I'm leaving out. If you know of any more, feel free to add them.
