Someone at the conference was talking about these shoes and I thought it was a joke until I looked them up and saw, Land O'Goshen, they're real. Among the uses they were talking about is to help blind people navigate around unfamiliar cities and towns as well as helping patients with dementia to get back home if they wander away and get lost.

I just want a pair because I love this idea.
