A Weekend @ Loose Ends

cinema_babeSo my date plans got FUBARed by an appointment that ended up getting canceled. Don't you hate when that happens?
Today will be Lamb and Guinness Stew Day! Going to run out to the supermarket to pick up a few things but I've got some nice lamb stew meat and a couple of *lovely* lamb shanks. I've also got carrots, parsnips, leeks and sweet onions. I don't have a recipe so I'll follow the steps I usually use and just toss the Guinness into the mix. If it works I'll have a lovey lunch all week long.
I'm almost done with Bleak House, I should go to the bookstore and look for some new books.
So what is everyone else up to today? If any local friends want to do something, call or text me.
