So here's a question, is it that good things happen in bunches or that when we're in a good frame of mind that's what we notice more and the not so great stuff rolls off of our backs?

1. On Monday I'm scheduled to sign the lease on a new place right off of Easton Ave in Somerset near Landing Lane. I'd be sharing a large house with several other people. My room is *HUGE* and I (sorta) have my own half bath (I share a full bath with 1 guy upstairs). It could be a tiny studio apt; Apparently it used to be the living room. There is a another living room *and* a fireplace *and* an outdoor grill and a lot of other stuff.

I am relieved but will be even more so when my signature is on the lease and the check is in the landlord's hand. If everything goes well on Monday, expect invitations from me.

2. I interviewed for a job last week with Rutgers doing Instructional Design on a state project that will benefit children immensely. They called me today and I have an appointment for a 2nd interview a week from today. Yea, second interviews. This would be a great job in that I think I could get free tuition for grad school. Even if I don't get it, I had a great interview and i feel good about that.

But I'd rather get the job.

3. I've been contacted from a major pharma company whose initials are not J & J. They potential job does not pay nearly enough but the recruiter was trying to sell it to me hard. He and I will speak again next week.

4. Game night at

tactisle and

shirleym's on Saturday. That always puts me in a good mood. Maybe I'll actually get there on time for a change, lol.

5. Did I mention last weekend? I didn't? Oh, that'll be a separate post.

I am cautiously doing the happy dance.
