A hearty thank you to 1cmf and onecrazymother for the awesome May Day party! Good food and good people and mead and fire and (plenty of home brewed) mead and did I mention good, no make that great, people. And mead.

I saw some folks I hadn’t seen in a while and met some new people. Crowds and new people are not the easiest thing for me to process; to say I can be socially awkward is kind. Yet, I felt very comfortable at the party; a testament to the host and hostess who did a great job of keeping everyone fed, watered and entertained. I never enjoyed songs by the campfire so much. I recall thinking, 1cmf and onecrazymother hang out with some very nice people. And then I realized that I was one .

The party was a lovely early spring tonic.
